The original SAA 2nd 5” Pegasus 2 Gas Revolver, debuted in 1999. In 2005, it was updated with a detachable cylinder design, marking the beginning of its continued evolution.
The newly developed PEGASUS II was created with a clear goal: greater durability, enhanced realism, and performance suited for both airsoft skirmishes and fast-draw competition. One key improvement addresses concerns from earlier detachable-cylinder models—the cylinder is now secured by a true-to-life base pin that passes through the cylinder, closely replicating the real firearm’s structure.
The patented PEGASAS II system also incorporates a variable hop-up mechanism for improved adaptability in airsoft use. To overcome typical revolver capacity limits, the SAA features an internal magazine system similar to other Pegasus models, holding 15 rounds plus an additional 10-round reserve stored in the ejector tube—for a total of 25 shots.
Reinforced and cushioned internal components further enhance strength and longevity, while refinements throughout improve overall realism. The result is a thoroughly upgraded platform built for practical performance. A 5½-inch version will also join the PEGASAS II lineup.
