Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 4.3 DOR Gas Blowback Pistol introduces a semi-compact addition to the Hi-Capa lineup, designed to support the optional Micro Pro Sight. With a newly developed slide and grip, this model reimagines the traditional Hi-Capa design while improving handling, portability, and operational ease.
The redesigned 4.3-inch slide allows the Micro Pro Sight to be mounted directly, creating a streamlined optics-ready platform. Combined with an updated grip shape and modern styling, the pistol balances a futuristic design approach with practical ergonomics for fast handling and reliable performance.
Heritage of the High-Capacity .45 Platform
The Colt M1911, widely known as the Government model, served as the standard sidearm of the U.S. military from 1911 to 1974. Renowned for the stopping power of its .45 caliber cartridge, it remains highly respected in the United States even today.
Although it was eventually replaced by the M92F chambered in 9mm Parabellum, many specialized units—including the U.S. Marine Corps, FBI Hostage Rescue Team, and Los Angeles SWAT—have continued to use custom pistols based on the Government platform due to the effectiveness of the .45 caliber.
While the original Government model typically holds only seven rounds, high-capacity variants address this limitation by significantly increasing magazine capacity. As a result, modern high-capacity versions continue to evolve the legendary platform, maintaining its reputation among military, law enforcement, and enthusiasts worldwide.
Direct Optics Ready Design
The slide is engineered to accept the optional Micro Pro Sight (sold separately). By removing the rear sight, the optic can be mounted directly onto the slide. The included high-mount base allows the sight to be installed at an elevated position, and an integrated backup sight is available for use when the optic is removed.
Note: The backup sight cannot be used while the Micro Pro Sight is installed.
Improved Handling and Control
The newly designed slide for the 4.3-inch barrel features front serrations and raised ribs, making it easier to rack the slide even when an optic is mounted. Additional enhancements include a flat short trigger for improved trigger control and a long slide stop for better operability. The redesigned rounded grip shape provides a more natural and comfortable hold compared to previous square-profile grips.
Powerful Blowback Action
Each shot drives the slide rearward with force, delivering a strong recoil sensation and realistic slide movement.
Proven Hi-Capa DOR Internal System
The pistol retains the blowback engine and short recoil system used in the original Hi-Capa DOR, allowing stable operation even with an optic mounted in a low-profile configuration.
Metal Notch Spacer
A reinforced metal insert inside the slide absorbs operational stress, helping to prevent wear on the slide stop notch and extending durability.
Cold-Resistant Die-Cast Magazine
Supplied with a 28-round die-cast magazine designed for reliable performance and improved resistance to cold temperatures.
